Description
The OJ Helmet Visor Cleaner Spray 200 ml (often marketed as OJ Visor) is a liquid cleaner specifically designed for cleaning motorcycle visors, windshields, and goggles. It removes dust, insects, oily residues, and smears without damaging polycarbonate or anti-scratch/anti-fog treatments, leaving the surface clearer and cleaner.
Features
-
Action: cleans motorcycle visors, windshields, and goggles, removing dirt, dust, insects, smog residue, and smears.
-
Compatibility: formulated to be safe on polycarbonate and common surface treatments (anti-scratch, anti-fog, Pinlock) when used according to instructions.
-
Formulation: a quick-acting cleaner, generally water-based and free of harsh solvents, to avoid damaging optical plastics and coatings.
-
Use: ideal for the periodic maintenance of the visor, before every ride or after journeys involving insects, dirty rain, or fog.
How to use
-
First, remove coarse dirt (mud, dried insects) with lukewarm water and a soft cloth to avoid micro-scratches.
-
Shake the can well.
-
Spray the product on both sides of the visor from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm.
-
Let it act for a few seconds.
-
Wipe gently with a clean, soft microfiber cloth without applying excessive pressure.
-
If necessary, repeat the operation and finish with the dry side of a second cloth to remove any remaining smears.
This type of product is designed to keep the visor optically clean and transparent, improving visibility and reducing the accumulation of residues that can cloud the surface over time.
Warnings
-
Do not use on padded interior helmet parts: there are specific cleaners available for the interior (e.g., OJ Helmet / Foam).
-
Avoid using paper, tissues, rough or abrasive cloths: they can scratch the polycarbonate and surface treatments.
-
Do not apply on the visor while riding; use only when the vehicle is stationary and the visor is cool or at room temperature.
-
Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
-
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and flames.
If the visor has a Pinlock treatment or integrated anti-fog systems, it is still good practice to verify that the manufacturer of the helmet or the treatment does not indicate any specific restrictions on the cleaners to be used.
