REV'IT! AVERTUM STREET TECH-AIR WOMEN'S AIRBAG

The REV’IT! Avertum Street Tech-Air® Women’s Airbag is an autonomous electronic airbag vest designed for street and urban riding. It can be worn over or under a certified motorcycle jacket and protects the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders, inflating in approximately 50 milliseconds when sensors detect a crash situation.

Features

• Technology: electronic Tech-Air® system, with no tether cables and no sensors or control units to be installed on the motorcycle.

• Sensors: six integrated sensors, including three accelerometers and three gyroscopes, with a waterproof electronic unit.

• Detection: monitoring algorithm developed over millions of kilometers of riding and thousands of accidents, designed to recognize conditions such as loss of control, low-side, high-side, and impacts even while the motorcycle is at a standstill.

• Activation time: airbag inflated in approximately 50 ms from crash detection.
  

• Airbag certification: Category II PPE compliant with EU Regulation 2016/425 and EN 1621-4:2013 standard.

• Absorption level: the inflated system provides performance comparable to a Level 2 protector for the chest and back.

• Impact reduction: REV’IT! declares an impact force reduction of up to 95% in covered areas compared to passive CE protectors.

• Vest certification: Class C according to EN 17092-6:2020, for both use over (C O) and under (C U) a certified motorcycle jacket.

• Materials: three-layer softshell construction with stretch PWR|Shell ripstop inserts on the sides and back, designed to enhance mobility and comfort.

• Ventilation: structure with ventilated panels/zones on the chest, designed to limit heat buildup.

• Closure: front zip with magnetic flap; the integrated LED display signals the system's operating status.

• Back protector: rear pocket designed for optional REV’IT! SEESOFT™ or SEESOFT AIR back protector; offers additional passive protection even when the airbag is not activated.

• Inflators: gas cartridges/inflators replaceable by the user after activation.

• Battery: declared battery life of up to 30 hours of riding after a full charge via micro-USB.

• Connectivity: Bluetooth and Tech-Air® app to check status and manage the system.
  

Recommended use

It is suitable for commuting, urban travel, road touring, and daily riding, for both the rider and passenger. Unlike tether-based systems, it does not require connecting to the motorcycle: put it on, zip it up, and verify that the LED indicator confirms system activation before starting your ride.

Safety and convenience

The Avertum Street Tech-Air® complements the protection of a helmet, jacket, gloves, pants, and technical boots, but does not replace them. After activation, check for any damage to the garment and follow the REV’IT!/Tech-Air® instructions for replacing the inflator and resetting the system; the ability to change the cartridge independently reduces downtime after an airbag deployment.
