BAGSTER TAB MAGNETS UNIVERSAL TANK FIXING KIT

The BAGSTER TAB MAGNETS Universal Tank Mounting Kit is a magnetic attachment system for Bagster tank bags, designed for quick mounting and dismounting of the bag on metal tanks without the need for adhesives, screws, or dedicated covers. It is based on 4 powerful magnets integrated into "tabs" and a safety strap to be passed around the steering head, ensuring hold and stability while riding.

Main features

• Compatibility: Bagster tank bags compatible with the TABS system (both natively magnetic bags and universal bags to which the kit is applied).

• Support: metal tanks (tin/steel); not suitable for plastic, carbon fiber, or non-ferromagnetic material tanks.

• Attachment system:

  • 4 powerful magnetic tabs that attach directly to the tank;

  • 1 safety strap to be passed around the steering head to prevent accidental movement or drops. 1638

• Installation: quick and reversible, without permanent adhesives or holes; allows the bag to be moved from one bike to another with ease.

• Usage: ideal for those who use multiple motorcycles or want a flexible "plug‑and‑play" solution for universal Bagster bags.

How it works and how to use it

• The 4 magnetic tabs are applied to the tank in the positions indicated by Bagster (usually two in the front and two in the back, in line with the bag's attachments).

• The TABS-compatible Bagster bag is attached to the tabs using its own internal/external fasteners.

• The safety strap is passed around the steering head and secured to prevent the bag from lifting or sliding during braking or cornering.

This system makes mounting/dismounting the bag very fast, useful for those who only use it on certain trips or who change bikes frequently.

Precautions

• Verify that the tank is metal: magnetism is not effective on plastic or carbon fiber tanks, or those with thick protective coatings.

• Check that the Bagster bag is compatible with the TABS system; many universal bags are, but some lines use different fasteners (Easy Road/Easy Trail, Baglocker, etc.).

• In the case of delicate painted tanks or those with films, it is good practice to clean the contact areas well and, if necessary, place a thin cloth or a protective layer between them to avoid micro-scratches caused by trapped dust.

• The safety strap must always be used: the magnets alone, while powerful, are not enough to ensure safety during sharp braking or on uneven surfaces.
