Description
The BAGSTER EASY ROAD EVO Tank Cover is a universal fabric tank cover, designed for sport/naked motorcycles with relatively flat and narrow tanks. It protects the paint from scratches and wear, acts as a mounting base for compatible Bagster tank bags, and installs quickly thanks to a 4-point system with elastic straps and hooks.
Main features
-
Application: sport/naked motorcycles with a flat and narrow tank (unlike the Easy Trail Evo, which is dedicated to adventure bikes with sloped tanks).
-
Material: modern, understated, stretch technical fabric.
-
Attachment system: 4 anchor points (front, rear, and two sides) with elastic straps and hooks.
-
Installation: quick and reversible, without permanent adhesives; it can be stored under the seat when not in use.
-
Protection: wool felt interior or soft lining to protect the tank's paint from scratches and friction.
-
Accessibility: leaves free access to the fuel cap.
-
Bag compatibility: designed to accommodate Bagster tank bags compatible with the Easy Road system (and in some cases with TABS adapters).
How it works and how to use it
-
The tank cover is slipped over the tank, conforming to it thanks to the stretch fabric.
-
Secure the 4 straps:
-
front strap around the steering head or under the fairing;
-
rear strap with elastic hooks under the seat or to the frame;
-
two side straps with hooks on the lower edge of the tank.
-
-
Once installed, it acts as a soft, non-slip base for compatible Bagster bags, while simultaneously protecting the tank's paint.
This system is highly valued for its simplicity and versatility: it mounts in a few minutes, requires no permanent modifications to the bike, and can be easily removed and stored.
Precautions
-
Verify that the model is Easy Road Evo (for road/naked bikes with flat tanks) and not Easy Trail Evo (for adventure bikes with sloped tanks), depending on the shape of your motorcycle's tank.
-
Check compatibility with the tank bag you intend to use: some Bagster bags require specific adapters or different attachment systems (TABS, Baglocker, etc.).
-
During installation, be careful not to scratch the paint with dirty hooks or straps; clean the contact areas well and ensure the inner felt is properly positioned.
-
Periodically check the wear status of the elastic straps and hooks, replacing them if they are loose or damaged to ensure safety while riding.
