Description
The OJ Trigger Chain Degreaser 500 ml is a ready-to-use cleaner/degreaser specifically for cleaning a motorcycle's transmission assembly (chain, sprocket, and chainring). It removes old grease, dirt, dust, and lubricant residue, preparing the chain for effective new lubrication. 1309
Features
-
Main applications: chain, sprocket, chainring, and adjacent areas of the transmission assembly.
-
Action: quickly eliminates:
-
old grease and spent lubricant;
-
dirt, dust, and road grime;
-
oily deposits that trap abrasives.
-
-
Formulation: ready-to-use cleaner, designed not to leave residues after rinsing/drying, so as not to interfere with subsequent lubrication.
-
Packaging: trigger spray for direct application, no dilution required.
Instructions for use
-
Work with the vehicle stationary, with the transmission cold or lukewarm, in a ventilated area.
-
If the chain is very dirty, remove the bulk of the dirt with a dedicated brush.
-
Spray the degreaser liberally along the entire length of the chain, on the sprocket and chainring, while slowly rotating the rear wheel.
-
Leave to act for a few minutes, without letting the product dry completely.
-
Agitate with a chain brush to loosen stubborn grease and residue.
-
Rinse with water (moderate spray) or remove the loosened dirt with a cloth/rag.
-
Dry the chain thoroughly with clean cloths before applying lubricant. 1309
Regular use is recommended, especially before each new lubrication, to ensure the lubricant adheres to a clean surface rather than a layer of old grease and dirt. 1309
Precautions
-
Avoid prolonged contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes; use gloves and, if necessary, safety goggles.
-
Do not use on hot surfaces and prevent the product from drying before rinsing/drying.
-
On chains with O-rings, X-rings, or internal seals, verify that the degreaser is compatible with rubber and elastomeric materials; OJ chain products are generally formulated so as not to damage seals when used according to the instructions.
-
Do not release the product into the environment; collect rinse water according to local regulations when possible.
The 500 ml trigger format is practical for garage or workshop use, allowing for several complete treatments with a single bottle.
