Description
The BAGSTER EASY TRAIL EVO Tank Cover is a universal neoprene tank cover designed for trail/enduro style motorcycles with sloped tanks. It protects the paintwork from scratches and wear, serves as a mounting base for compatible Bagster tank bags, and can be installed quickly thanks to a 4-point system with elastic straps and hooks.
Main features
-
Application: trail motorcycles with a sloped tank (as opposed to the Easy Road Evo, which is dedicated to road bikes with flatter tanks).
-
Material: elastic neoprene, soft and form-fitting.
-
Fastening system: 4 attachment points (front, rear, and two sides) with elastic straps and hooks.
-
Installation: quick and reversible, without permanent adhesives; it can be stored under the seat when not in use.
-
Protection: internal felt or soft fabric lining to protect the tank's paint from scratches and rubbing.
-
Accessibility: allows free access to the fuel cap.
-
Bag compatibility: designed to accommodate compatible Bagster tank bags with the Easy Trail system (and in some cases with TABS adapters).
How it works and how to use it
-
The tank cover is slipped over the tank, adapting to its shape thanks to the elastic neoprene.
-
Secure the 4 straps:
-
front strap around the steering head or under the fairing;
-
rear strap with elastic hooks under the seat or to the frame;
-
two side straps with hooks on the lower edge of the tank.
-
-
Once installed, it acts as a soft, non-slip base for compatible Bagster bags, while simultaneously protecting the tank's paint.
This system is highly valued for its simplicity and versatility: it can be mounted in a few minutes, requires no permanent modifications to the motorcycle, and can be easily removed and stored.
Precautions
-
Verify that the model is Easy Trail Evo (for trails) and not Easy Road Evo (for road bikes), according to your motorcycle's tank shape.
-
Check compatibility with the tank bag you intend to use: some Bagster bags require specific adapters or different mounting systems (TABS, Baglocker, etc.).
-
During installation, be careful not to scratch the paint with dirty hooks or straps; clean the contact areas well and check that the internal felt is correctly positioned.
-
Periodically check the condition of the straps and elastic hooks, replacing them if they are loose or damaged to ensure safety while riding.
