Description
The Leatt ADV SubZero 7.5 Short Cuff Gloves 2024 Version are winter Adventure gloves, waterproof and breathable, designed to face cold, rain, and motorcycle touring. The Short version features a shorter cuff, ideal for those who prefer to wear the glove under or flush with the jacket sleeve, without sacrificing the HydraDri EVO membrane, thermal insulation, and certified protection.
Features
-
Conditions of use: designed for riding in cold, wind, and rain, for touring, commuting, and Adventure.
-
Membrane: HydraDri® EVO waterproof and breathable, with declared values of 20,000 mm water column and 20,000 g/m²/24 h breathability.
-
Insulation: thermal padding designed to keep hands warm and preserve comfort and grip on the controls in cold temperatures.
-
Knuckle protection: 3DF Soft Impact foam, soft and flexible in normal use but designed to absorb energy in case of impact.
-
Certification: CE EN 13594:2015 Level 1 knuckle protection.
-
Finger protection: TPR inserts on fingers to increase impact protection.
-
Palm: palm slider to facilitate sliding and limit friction in the event of a fall.
-
Reinforcements: dual-layer material in areas most exposed to impact and abrasion.
-
Closure: cuff with velcro/hook-and-loop fastening; the configuration and FreeFlex system may vary between the short and standard versions.
-
Visor wiper: dedicated insert on the left thumb to remove rain and moisture from the helmet visor.
-
Touchscreen: compatibility with capacitive displays, useful for smartphones and navigation systems without removing gloves.
-
Declared materials: 56% polyester, 36% leather, 5% polyurethane, and 5% other materials; contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
Recommended use
These are indicated for motorcyclists who ride in autumn and winter, tackle commutes, long-distance touring, or Adventure routes with unstable weather. The HydraDri EVO membrane with 20K/20K values aims to protect against water and wind without completely compromising breathability, while the thermal padding is designed to counteract hand cooling.
The Short version is suitable for those who prefer a less bulky glove at the wrist and compatibility with tight-fitting sleeves. For greater overlap over the jacket cuff and a more extended closure on the wrist, the standard version is preferable.
Design and comfort
The SubZero 7.5 Short combine a technical construction for cold weather with practical elements for real-world riding: flexible 3DF protection on the knuckles, dual-layer reinforcements, palm slider, visor wiper, and touchscreen function. The result is a glove oriented toward weather protection, maintaining enough mobility to operate levers, controls, and navigation devices.
