SP-CONNECT BRAKE MOUNT LARGE SMARTPHONE SUPPORT

The SP-Connect Brake Mount Large is a dedicated base for securing your phone (with an SP-Connect SPC/SPC+ case or adapter) directly to the brake (or clutch) fluid reservoir cover of motorcycles, maxi-scooters, and scooters. It replaces the original cover screws with two included stainless steel screws and offers 3-axis adjustment: 360° rotation and adjustable tilt, keeping the phone in your line of sight for comfortable and safe navigation.

Installation

Remove the two original screws from the brake reservoir cover, position the Brake Mount Large, and tighten the included stainless steel screws (M4×16/18) into the existing holes, verifying that the hole spacing falls within the 51–81 mm range. The arm can be adjusted for height and tilt, while the head rotates 360° to find the ideal viewing angle.

The SP-Connect (twist-lock) mounting system allows you to insert/remove the phone in about a second, while maintaining a very stable hold even on rough roads.

Recommended use

It is recommended for those who want their phone clearly visible and centered while riding, without cluttering the handlebars. The position on the brake reservoir is particularly convenient for maxi-scooters and motorcycles with crowded cockpits, and it keeps the display in line with your gaze to reduce distraction time.

The 3-axis adjustment allows you to adapt the height and tilt to different riders and riding positions, while the 360° rotation makes it easy to switch from portrait to landscape based on your navigation preferences.

Precautions

• Measure the hole spacing of your reservoir cover before purchasing: the Large version covers 51–81 mm; if your cover is smaller, you need the standard version (40.5–61.5 mm).

• Check that the included screws (M4×16/18) are compatible with the original thread; in rare cases, a washer or a different screw may be required.

• SP-Connect recommends using the anti-vibration module to protect the camera of smartphones sensitive to vibrations, especially on motorcycles with single-cylinder engines or rigid frames.
