ALPINESTARS FASTER V3 AIRFLOW LEATHER JACKET
Description
The Alpinestars Faster V3 Airflow is a highly ventilated leather sports jacket, designed for summer road use and dynamic riding on naked/supersport bikes.
Safety and certifications
-
Outer shell in high-abrasion resistance multi-layer cowhide leather, with large perforated panels on the chest, back, and arms.
-
Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 armor on the shoulders, GP Lite on the elbows; rigid DFS GP Lite sliders on the shoulders for improved sliding in the event of a crash.
-
Garment certified to EN 17092‑4:2020 – Class A, making it suitable for sporty road use but not on the level of an AA/AAA jacket/suit for track use.
-
Prepared for Alpinestars Nucleon back and chest protectors (sold separately).
Comfort, ventilation, and fit
-
Sporty cut with pre-curved sleeves and ergonomic elbows, suitable for a forward-leaning riding position.
-
Extensive HRSF stretch inserts on the chest, abdomen, underarms, back, and shoulder blades for freedom of movement and a snug fit without restriction.
-
Highly perforated torso and arms + zippered air intakes on the sides: ideal for warm to very hot weather, poorly suited for the cold.
-
Mesh inner lining, zippered front pockets, waterproof inner pocket, connection zipper for Alpinestars pants, and a slightly longer back.
Airbag and recommended use
-
Compatible with Tech‑Air 5 and Tech‑Air 3, with volume and seams designed to accommodate the airbag vest.
-
Excellent as a summer leather jacket for city riding, mountain passes, and sporty rides; it is not the primary choice for rain, cold, or prolonged “serious” track use.
