The Alpinestars SM5 helmet is designed to provide maximum protection and comfort for off-road riders. The impact resistant thermoplastic shell, surface design, optimized ventilation and multi-air inlets ensure complete protection, while the 3D molded foam and special fabrics ensure comfort and breathability. The visor is designed to direct air into the ports for increased airflow, while the patented visor release system ensures that the visor is released with the right predetermined amount of force, regardless of the angle of impact. The helmet is also equipped with a pair of side shells with soft EPS foam to prevent damage to the collarbone in the event of an accident, a 26 mm soft fabric chin strap for optimal safety and rider comfort and a stainless steel Double-DD closure . The helmet is ECE 22.05 and DOT approved and comes with removable interior with Silverplus treated antibacterial fabrics for excellent moisture wicking and removable and washable antimicrobial lining.
